How to reset Cloud user passwords
How to reset your password, and the password of others.
🔑 Overview
Mashgin Cloud passwords can be reset from the login page or directly through the Users section. Use this guide to:
- Reset your own password if you've forgotten it
- Reset a team member's password on their behalf
What you'll need:
- The email address associated with the account being reset
- Manager or Client access in Mashgin Cloud to reset someone else's password
💡 Tip: Password reset emails sometimes land in spam or junk — let the user know to check there if they don't see it within a few minutes.
Resetting someone else's password requires Manager or Client level access. See the link guide for help with access levels.
🔑 Reset Your Own Password
Step 1. Go to the login page and click Forgot Password
- Open your browser and go to cloud.mashgin.com
- Click "Forgot Password" below the sign-in fields

Step 2. Check your email and set a new password
- Enter the email address associated with your account
- Click Submit
- Check your inbox for a password reset email from Mashgin
- Click the link in the email and follow the prompts to create a new password
Don't see the email? Check your spam or junk folder. The reset link expires after a short time — request a new one if needed.
👤 Reset a Password for Someone Else
Step 3. Go to Users in Mashgin Cloud
- Log in to cloud.mashgin.com
- Select "Users" from the left-hand sidebar
- Click on the name of the user whose password needs to be reset

Step 4. Send a password reset email
- In the user's profile, click "Reset Password"
- The user will receive an email with a link to set a new password
- Let them know to check their inbox — and spam folder — for the reset link
The user sets their own new password through the link — you won't see or choose it for them.
