How to Calibrate your kiosk

Step 1. Camera Checks

1. Go to Manager Mode > Advanced > Calibration

2. Confirm all 8 cameras are showing, and not stuck

3. Check lenses for film or dust

Step 2. Required items

1. Calibration board

2. Item 3-4 inches tall ( 7-10 cm )

3. Item 5-8 inches tall ( 13-23 cm )

Step 3. Empty + Flat Poses

1. Take one pose of the base completely empty

2. Place the board on the base and take 7-10 poses

3. Move the board between poses

4. The goal it to cover the base with poses, usually this can be done with a 3x3 grid

Step 4. Short Item Poses

1. Place the calibration board on top of the tall item ( 3-4 in / 7-10 cm )

2. Take 7-10 poses
1. Move the board between poses
2. Take poses until you have covered the base
3. Make sure the board is not extending past the black line around the base

Step 5. Tall Item Poses

1. Place the calibration board on top of the tall item ( 5-8 in / 13-23 cm )

2. Take 7-10 poses
1. Move the board between poses
2. Take poses until you have covered the base
3. Make sure the board is not extending past the black line around the base

Step 6. Shallow Angle Poses

1. Lean the board horizontally against your item

2. Take 7-10 poses
1. Move the board between poses
2. Always face the board to the center of the base.

Step 7. Steep Angle Poses

1. Lean the board Vertically against an item

2. Take 7-10 poses
1. Move the board between poses
2. Always face the board to the center of the base.

Step 8. Complete & verify

1. Remove all items from the base

2. Press the green Calibrate button — do not interrupt

3. Press ‘Cancel’

4. Confirm ‘Ok’ shows for each camera

1. Clear camera views of obstructions

2. Clean base surface

3. Check lenses for film/dust

4. Remove the calibration board from the base
