What is Creator?
An orientation tour of Mashgin Creator — the menu management website at creator.mashgin.com. Walks through the All Items page, top menu bar, and the left sidebar so first-time admins can find their way around.
📋 Overview
Creator (creator.mashgin.com) is Mashgin's menu management website. This is where you edit, create, and manage all items sold through your kiosk or tablets — including prices, taxes, discounts, stations, and more.
Tip: If you’re making a lot of adjustments in Creator then you should export your menu items first so you can always rollback if necessary.
🔑 How to Access Creator
Step 1. Log in to Creator
Creator can be accessed in two ways:
- Go directly to creator.mashgin.com in your web browser
- Navigate to Cloud → select a location → click Menu
🗂️ Main Areas of Creator
Step 2. All Items Page
When you first log in, you land on the All Items page. From here you can:
- Search for items by name, Item ID, SKU, or POS ID
- Add, edit, or remove items from your menu
- Add, edit, or remove containers from your menu
- Sort and filter your item list

The top menu bar lets you switch between different item views, sorting by details like dotcodes, containers, availability, or adjusting the columns you view.

The left sidebar menu gives you access to all major functions in Creator:
Locations — Switch between locations you manage
Selecting the name of your location will display the other locations you may have access to.
