The LED indicator light pole is a light pole mounted on top of the kiosk that displays the status of the current transaction.

It signals to customers whether a kiosk is available, and alerts staff when assistance may be needed.

🚦What do the light pole colors mean?


  • 🟢 Solid Green
    • Kiosk is available for checkout
  • 🟡 Solid Amber
    • Transaction started on kiosk
    • Manage Mode entered
  • 🔴 Flashing Red
    • Payment error
    • Age-restricted item placed
    • Call Attendant button pressed
    • Transaction cancelled (all items removed from base)

❓ Are light poles required?


No — light poles aren't required for the kiosk to function, but they're highly recommended in these situations:

  • Locations with multiple kiosks where customers in line may have trouble seeing which are available
  • Environments where one or two staff members are managing several kiosks at the same time
