How to Add Items to Stations
Assign items to a station in Creator — select the station, create or pick a category, add items (existing or new), and configure option groups.

Items live inside categories, which live inside stations. This article walks through creating categories and adding items — either existing items from your menu or brand new ones — plus configuring option groups for choices and modifiers.

⚙️ How to Add Items to a Station
Step 1. Navigate to Creator
Open creator.mashgin.com in your browser and log in.
Step 2. Select the station on the left sidebar
In the left sidebar, click the station you want to add items to.
Step 3. Click + to create a Category and configure settings
Click the + button next to the station to create a new category. Configure the category name and any settings, then save.
- Select the + symbol to create a new Category
- Enter the Category name
- Select item Visibility
- All ( Tablet, Mobile, Visual Option )
- Tablet - Category is only visible on the order tablet.
- Mobile - Category is only visible for Mobile orders
- Visual Option - Category is only for Visual options.
Step 4. Choose between an existing item and a new item
In the configure-settings panel, decide whether to add an existing item (already in your menu) or create a new item from scratch.
- Select Add Item +
- Existing Item - Item already created in the Menu
- New Item - Item not in the menu and needs to be created
Step 5. Click + next to Options Group to configure option items
If the item has options or modifiers (e.g., "Choose your size", "Add toppings"), click the + next to Options Group and configure each option.
Step 7. Click Create
When everything looks right, click Create to save the item to the category.
