Global Match Color Coding

What the green, yellow, and red color codes on a Global Match ID mean in Creator, and how many poses each color represents.

🎨

In Creator, every item's Global Match ID is color-coded — green, yellow, or red — based on how many poses it has. The color is a quick at-a-glance signal of how reliably the kiosk can recognize the item.

🎨 Understanding Global Match Colors

🟢 Green — Sufficient Poses

  • Meaning: The item has 20 or more poses.
  • Action: No additional poses are needed unless packaging changes.

🟡 Yellow — Needs More Poses

  • Meaning: The item has fewer than 20 poses.

🔴 Red — Action Required

  • Meaning: There are 0 poses attached to this item. The kiosk cannot visually recognize it.
⚠️

Important Exception for Dotcodes: If an item has a Dotcode, it should not have a Global Match or any poses associated with it. Please reach out to Mashgin Support to delete the Global Match association.
