The LED indicator light pole is a light pole mounted on top of the kiosk that displays the status of the current transaction.
It signals to customers whether a kiosk is available, and alerts staff when assistance may be needed.

- 🟢 Solid Green
- Kiosk is available for checkout
- 🟡 Solid Amber
- Transaction started on kiosk
- Manage Mode entered
- 🔴 Flashing Red
- Payment error
- Age-restricted item placed
- Call Attendant button pressed
- Transaction cancelled (all items removed from base)
❓ Are light poles required?
No — light poles aren't required for the kiosk to function, but they're highly recommended in these situations:
- Locations with multiple kiosks where customers in line may have trouble seeing which are available
- Environments where one or two staff members are managing several kiosks at the same time
