How to Disable Tablet Sleep Mode
Step-by-step guide for disabling sleep mode on kiosk-connected tablets from Cloud Settings, preventing the side screen from going dark when idle.
📋 Overview
Tablet sleep mode causes the side UX screen to dim or turn off when idle. You can disable this from Cloud to keep the display active at all times.
🔧 How to Disable Tablet Sleep Mode
Step 1. Navigate to Cloud
Go to cloud.mashgin.com and log in.
Step 2. Go to the Settings tab
Click Settings in the top navigation.
Step 3. Open Display settings
Under Tablet & Mobile Settings, click Mobile.
Step 4. Toggle Disable Sleep Mode ON
Toggle Disable Sleep Mode to ON to prevent tablets from sleeping when idle.
Step 5. Save Changes
Click Save Changes.
For immediate updates on the kiosk, tap Sync DB after saving. Otherwise, changes will sync automatically in about 5–10 minutes.
