How do I resolve a cameras cannot be reached alert?

A Camera Cannot Be Reached alert means one or more of the kiosk's cameras is not being detected. This is typically caused by a loose or disconnected camera cable and can usually be resolved on-site without a service call.

๐Ÿ”ง Resolution Steps


Step 1. Power cycle the kiosk

Start by performing a full power cycle โ€” this resolves most camera alerts on its own.

Follow all steps in โ€œHow do I power cycle the kiosk?" Then let the kiosk fully boot and check whether the alert has cleared.

If the alert clears after power cycling, you're done! If it's still showing after the kiosk fully restarts, continue to Step 2.

Step 2. Check the calibration page

Use the live camera view to identify which camera is missing.

  1. Navigate to Manager Mode โ†’ Advanced โ†’ Calibration
  1. Confirm whether you can see all 8 live camera feeds
  1. Note which feed is blank or missing โ€” this tells you which cable to reseat in Step 3

๐Ÿ’กTIP: Place you hand in front of the camera while on the calibration feed. Move your hand between the cameras until you are not able to see you hand on the screen. This will the the camera that is missing.

Step 3. Reseat the camera cable

Locate and reseat the cable for the missing camera. Where to find the cable depends on which camera is affected:

Hood cameras (angled from above)

Arm cameras (angled from the sides)

Unplug the cable from its port, wait a few seconds, then firmly plug it back in to the same port.

Step 4. Power cycle the kiosk again

After reseating the cable, perform another full power cycle followingHow do I power cycle the kiosk?

Once the kiosk restarts, go back to Manager Mode โ†’ Advanced โ†’ Calibration and confirm all camera feeds are now visible.
