What are Containers?
Learn what containers are in Creator, how they work, and what the customer experience looks like at the kiosk.
Containers group similarly packaged items so customers can select the correct item at the kiosk when packaging looks identical.
- For instance, you have a closed clamshell container that can contain two items. The customer will be prompted to pick between these two items on the screen.
📋 Examples
- Sandwiches — Turkey & Swiss / Ham & Cheddar in the same container; customer selects their choice at the kiosk
- Pizza — Pepperoni / Sausage / Veggie all packaged the same; kiosk prompts for the correct slice
- Pizza box — Cheese / Pepperoni in identical closed boxes; kiosk prompts the customer to select which type is inside
- Price by weight — Salad bar or deli items charged per pound; customer confirms weight at checkout
