How to Schedule Items from Stations
Make menu items appear on the kiosk only during specific times of day — like a breakfast burrito that only shows up before 11 AM — by tagging items to a Day Part.
📅 Overview
Schedule a station item to automatically appear on the kiosk at a specific start time and disappear at a specific end time. Use this for limited-time promos, seasonal item launches, items going live on a specific date, or items being retired at the end of a run.
Scheduling is set on each item individually using the Calendar Icon in the item editor.
What you'll need:
- Access to creator.mashgin.com
- The exact start and end date/time you want the item to be available
For recurring time windows that swap menus daily (e.g., Breakfast 6 AM–11 AM every day), use How to Add Day Parts instead.
⚙️ How to Schedule an Item
Step 1. Navigate to Creator
Open creator.mashgin.com in your browser and log in.
Step 2. Select the station and item
- In the left sidebar, click the station containing the item you want to schedule.
- Select the item within the station.
- Open the “Additional Details”
Step 4. Set the start and end time using the Calendar Icon
- Enter your desired start and end time, and use the calendar icon to quickly select.
Tip: Both Start and End are not required.
Need the item active now, but stops tomorrow? Leave the start blank and add your end date.
Step 5. Save and sync
Click Save to apply the schedule.
For immediate updates on the kiosk, tap Sync DB. Otherwise, the changes will sync in about 5–10 minutes.
