How to Activate a CSR Scanner
Step-by-step guide to activating a CSR scanner.
๐ Overview
A new CSR scanner ships with default settings that aren't compatible with the kiosk.
To activate it, scan four configuration barcodes in sequence: a deactivation reset, an age-verification QR enable, a PDF417 enable, and a GS1 enable.
Then test the scanner on a regular barcode and an age-restricted item to confirm everything's working.
Activation codes: the three configuration barcodes need to be available as printable/scannable images.
