Kiosk Zero: Language Settings
A guide to the Language section of Kiosk Zero Manager Mode settings — setting a default language and enabling customers to choose their preferred language during ordering.

This guide covers the Language section of Kiosk Zero Manager Mode settings. Use these options to set the default language displayed on the ordering screen and to allow customers to choose their preferred language before checkout.
To navigate here: Enter Manager Mode → tap Settings → tap Language.

🌐 Language Options
Default Language
Sets the language that customers see when they first arrive at the Kiosk Zero ordering screen. This is the language the interface displays before any customer interaction.
To set the default language:
- In Manager Mode, go to Settings → Language.
- Under Default Language, tap the language selector.
- Choose the desired language from the list.

User Select Language on Checkout
When ON, a 🌐 globe icon appears on the Kiosk Zero ordering screen. Customers can tap it at any point during their session to select their preferred language before checking out.

Backend configuration required. Before customers can select a language, additional settings must be enabled on the backend for your location. This cannot be done from the tablet alone. Contact Mashgin Support to fully enable this feature before turning on this toggle.
To enable customer language selection:
- Contact Mashgin Support at help@mashgin.com or (855) 475-0889 to confirm the feature is enabled for your location.
- Once confirmed, in Manager Mode, go to Settings → Language.
- Toggle User Select Language on Checkout to ON.
- The 🌐 globe icon will now appear on the customer-facing ordering screen.
